I believe leadership begins on the inside. Not with frameworks or techniques laid over who you are, but with how honestly you're willing to look at yourself - because you can only take others as far as you've been willing to go on your own.
I've spent years doing that work - my own, and helping other's with theirs. What I've learned is that most of what gets in a leader's way isn't a skill they're missing. It's a conversation they're avoiding, a story they've outgrown, or something at the edge of their own awareness.
